Join the University of Nebraska Rodeo Association as they host the 59th Annual UNL Rodeo.

Performances are at 7:00pm Friday, April 14 and 1:00pm and 7:00pm Saturday, April 15 at the Lancaster Event Center. Friday is College Night and all college students who show their ID at the door get in for $5.00.

Kids Day will be held 9:00am - 12:00pm on April 15. Rodeo demonstrations and live animals will highlight the free activities. Children 12 and under receive free admission to the afternoon rodeo performance.

The UNL Rodeo is primarily run by students, who organize and raise funds for the event. Members form committees such as hospitality, promotion, education and production to ensure every detail is handled.

UNRA is a member of the Great Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. About 250 contestants from six states compete in 10 rodeos throughout the year for a chance to qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. UNL's rodeo team consists of 15 members from four states and 10 majors.

The UNL Rodeo takes place each year during CASNR Week, a celebration of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
