The Muslim Students Association invites you to learn about Islam to clear up misconceptions and misleading stereotypes. The basic principles of Islam call for compassion, mercy, doing good for the community and treating your neighbors well. Events include a speaker on modern approaches to marriage, presentations about the stories of the Qur’an, the chance to try on a hijab, try teas/coffee, henna and more.

The event schedule is:
- April 3rd, 11:00am - 1:00pm, Nebraska Union, First Floor.
Hijab (head scarf) day

- April 4th, 3:00 - 5:00 pm, Nebraska Union Food Courts C&D.
Islamic Booth presentations. Learn more about art and science in Islam, as well as interesting facts about the Qur’an, Islamic art and architecture

- April 5th, 12:00 noon – 02:00pm, Nebraska Union.
Syria & Myanmar Fundraising event. Try authentic Arabic sweets/desserts and Arabic Coffee. Also, you can check out our Calligraphy shirts and Henna.

- April 4th, 3:00 – 5:00pm, Hamilton Hall 110.
"Marriage in Islam" Lecture given by guest speaker Imam Yaser Birjas.
