Stephen LeGrand has been the CEO of Sand Creek Post & Beam since October 2017. Prior to that, he worked at Valmont Industries, Inc. for more than ten years. While at Valmont, Mr. LeGrand worked in various positions, including Vice President of Global Operations for Irrigation, Vice President of Operational Excellence, and Vice President of Strategy Deployment. Through these positions, Mr. LeGrand oversaw Valmont’s transition into a lean enterprise business and was responsible for the company’s worldwide operations consisting of eight manufacturing locations and five warehouses with operations in the United States, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Spain, and Australia. Before his career at Valmont, Mr. LeGrand held positions at Kohler Co. (Director of Global Operations), Newell Rubbermaid (Production Control Manager, and Operations Manager), Rockwell Collins (Production Control Specials and Senior Process Engineer), and Hughes Aircraft Company (Supervisor). In these positions, Mr. LeGrand led several global operations teams in Asia, India, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South American and North America. He is also the coauthor of Reinventing the Supply Chain Life Cycle: Strategies and Methods for Analysis and Decision Making, and was instrumental in starting the Supply Chain Management and Analytics program at the University of Nebraska.
