Husker GROW, a program designed to help students connect campus employment experiences to coursework and career aspirations, will host information sessions Dec. 11 and 12 for faculty and staff members interested in implementing the program in fall 2019.
More than 1,600 students currently participate in the Husker GROW program through student employment and leadership roles within Student Affairs. GROW, which stands for guided reflection on work, uses brief structured conversations between student employees and their supervisors to help make the learning from student employment more visible to students.
Info sessions are recommended for student employee supervisors or advisors to dedicated student volunteer roles. Sessions will be held in the Nebraska Union Auditorium on Tuesday, December 11 from 10-11 a.m., and Wednesday, December 12, from 2-3 p.m. No RSVP or registration is needed to attend.
If you are unable to attend and would like more information about the program email huskergrow@unl.edu.
