April 8th through the 12th we will be celebrating and recognizing all of the wonderful ways student organizations impact the campus and surrounding communities! Check out some of the fun things we have planned!
Keep your eyes open as you walk through the Nebraska Union, Plaza, and Meyers Commons. Throughout the week we will be sharing the story of RSOs and the vibrancy they bring to campus, as well as benefits RSO members gain from being involved.
We will also be hosting our Transition in your RSO Workshop on Wednesday, April 10th from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. If you have newly elected RSO Officers, or Officers who are getting ready to graduate, this will be a great presentation on how you as an RSO advisor can support officer transitions. We will chat about ways to successfully manage officer transitions in your RSO, and explore different ways your members can get ready to be an outstanding new officer, leave a legacy as an outgoing officer and support their new executive board through these changes. The highlight of RSO Week will be the Student Impact Awards Banquet, taking place on Thursday, April 11th. A huge shout-out and thank you to those of you who took the time to nominate your students. We had over 90 nominations this year, which made the reviewing process much, much harder to select just one award recipient from a pool of highly deserving students and organizations.
