HELPFUL HIGHLIGHT
Each newsletter I will be sharing tips, campus resources, and skills that can help you personally, academically, and professionally. This newsletter’s highlight is reflection!
Reflecting on your experiences are almost as important as your experiences themselves. As we kick off finals week and head into summer, I suggest taking a moment to reflect on your semester. What went well, and what didn’t go well? Did you achieve your goals? If so, what contributed to your success and how can you set the bar even higher? If not, what barriers got in the way, what resources and tools can you use in the future, and what changes might you need to make? Every experience has a learning opportunity—what matters is how we use that knowledge moving forward.
If you want to talk more about this, I will be available for appointments and the Center for Academic Success and Transition will be open all summer! It’s not too early to start strategizing so you can start off the next semester on the right foot.
Remember to take care of yourself, and good luck on finals!

ADVISING UPDATE
The University recently announced that there will be a two-week session in January prior to the start of the Spring 2022 semester. The session will run January 3-14, 2022, and the full Spring semester will begin January 18th. Summer is coming up soon! While the spring semester will be ending, I will still be available for appointments. Summer can be a great time to talk more in depth about your degree plan, experiences you want to pursue, and how you can set yourself up for future success.
