TRADE POLICY INTERNSHIPS
Applications are open for the Yeutter Student Scholar Award and the Washington International Trade Association Summer 2022 Internship, supported by the Steve Nelson Yeutter Institute International Trade Internship Award. These awards aim to support access to internships in international trade and to provide students with valuable exposure to and experience with trade policy issues and leaders in business, agriculture, law, academia, non-governmental organizations, embassies, and the U.S. Government.
Yeutter Student Scholar Award
Apply by October 8
• $5,000 award to support a student who has obtained an internship at a major trade-related organization, including but not limited to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and World Bank.
• Award aims to support access to internships in the field that are often unpaid or modestly-paid.
• The award will be administered for summer 2022 contingent on a student securing an approved internship.
Washington International Trade Association Internship, Washington D.C.
Apply by October 8
• Yeutter Institute partnership with the Washington International Trade Association to send a student to work in their organization each summer in the heart of the trade policy community in Washington, D.C.
• $6,000 award to support roundtrip airfare and living expenses, supported by the Nebraska Farm Bureau through the Steve Nelson Yeutter Institute International Trade Internship Award.
• Must demonstrate an interest in agricultural policy and international trade.
