Next week, we welcome four former Ambassador’s to Lincoln and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the Nebraska Ambassador’s Forum (https://neambassadorsforum.com) supported by Burlington Capital. Ambassador Ronald Neumann, current President of the American Academy of Diplomacy will be joined by the Honorable Alonzo L. Fulgham, Ambassador J. Peter Pham and Ambassador Dawn Liberi.
Speaking on Diplomacy and Development, the guests will focus their conversation on the topics of: Does all aid succeed – why or why not? What are the right policies to ensure sustainable development? Public-Private Partnerships - why foreign assistance no longer belongs to governments only – how it now serves as a driver of international development. They will pull from their experiences serving across Africa - including Senegal, Ghana, Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Burundi (and the first ever U.S. Special Envoy for the Sahel), as well as posts serving Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Jordan, and across the Middle East and North Africa.
