Scholarships from the Global Experiences Office
Global Experiences Scholarship – for students planning to study abroad within the next 3 years, not for students studying abroad in the next term. Due date: February 15th
Edythe Wiebers Application - for students studying any language. Due date: February 15th
MAPS Scholarship: Once a student applies for a program, they automatically receive a MAPS Application Form. Completing this application will allow an applicant to be considered for at least 12 study abroad scholarships. The MAPS application deadline aligns with the program application deadlines of February 15 for summer programs and April 1 for fall or academic year programs.
External Scholarships
Boren Awards – Prestigious language study in non-Western European countries
Critical Language Scholarship – intensive overseas summer language learning for languages deemed critical by the US Department of State.
Gilman Scholarship – for Pell-eligible students to study abroad
