Grief Intervention Group at UNL
Grief Intervention Group at UNL

• This study will entail 6, 90-minute in-person sessions on UNL campus and 7 online surveys (one prior to the first session, then one completed at the end of each session). These sessions will bring you together with other students who have experienced grief to share your experiences, learn about grief, coping, and communication, and participate in grief-related activities.
• Dates of the 6-week sessions (*Note: Spring Break may impact these dates):
o Groups will run: Tuesdays from 8-9:30PM in Louise Pound Hall 340
o Dates: Next Tuesday, February 11th (pending we have enough student participants for the group to begin) through March
• To participate, you must currently be enrolled as an undergraduate student at UNL, NWU, or Doane and have experienced the death(s) of an important person(s) that has impacted your college life. You must also be at least 19 years of age.
• You will not be compensated for participating in this study (though snacks and coffee will be provided at all sessions!)
• There are risks associated with this study including: breach of confidentiality and emotional stress.
• Your participation is voluntary, and you can decide not to participate at any time with no repercussions for relationships with UNL or Mourning Hope Grief Center.

If you qualify and agree to participate in the six-week study, please email Cassidy Taladay-Carter (ctaladay@huskers.unl.edu) and then follow the link below to provide your informed consent and complete the first survey.
