UNL History Club Event

History Club is hosting “The History of Student Activism” this Monday, April 7th at 4pm in the Heritage Room of the Union. Students will hear from a number of active student groups on campus who are involved in or have ties to different examples of student activism (Afrikan People’s Union, Generation Action, Students for Justice in Palestine, and Mexican American Student Association). The groups will speak on their roles in wider activist communities, both historically and here on campus. Attendees will be able to craft their own “protest” signs as they listen to these groups present.
