Year at UNL: 4; Senior
Favorite book: Coraline by Neil Gaiman; It taught me to value things that I have more than things that I want
Favorite movie: How to Train Your Dragon; It's one of the animations I grew up watching and I never get tired of.
why this major/minor: I'm studying geography with an emphasis on GIS because I think it's a very powerful tool that can be utilized in almost every circumstance. As for my minor, I think GIS would pair well with natural resource management. Furthermore, I have had quite a strong connection with the environment since I was little. Geography is a versatile major and there are various paths you can pursue, which is why it's a great major for others to pick.
Best class: One of the most interesting classes I've taken is the Physical Geography class. This class is one of the early geography classes that geography majors have to take. It's also a great option for ACE4. This class not only has a fun lab but also introduces you to the basics of being a geographer.
experiences: Technically, UNL is considered my study abroad experience since I'm from a different country. It was a whole new experience, coming to UNL. The first year in a dorm on campus is one of the best experiences you could have throughout your academic career.
post-graduation plan: I'm planning to go back to my country, where I can be closer to my parents and join the Hydrographic Department under the Royal Thai Navy.
