With questions of (im)migration and refugees making national headlines, join us in GLST/HRHA 350 on December 4 for a compelling Q&A interview with Yevheniia Eckel, a Ukrainian immigrant and former supervisor of the Refugee Resettlement Program at Lutheran Family Services (LFS). She has helped resettle more than six hundred refugees in Lincoln. She has dedicated her life to helping newcomers feel safe and supported. Our Q&A session is an opportunity to learn more about migration, identity, culture, and the power of community from someone living it every day.
