Independence Day weekend is one of four major holiday weekends throughout the year when the Visual Drought Atlas seeks submissions to help show how drought does (and doesn't) look in your surroundings.

This Fourth of July, or any other day of the year, help inform the Visual Drought Atlas, which can be found on the National Drought Mitigation Center website. The NDMC is based at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Natural Resources.
