Seminars This Week: Whole lake research

One seminar is scheduled this week in Hardin Hall. The Applied Ecology seminar series will host a talk on Friday, Oct. 26. There will not be seminars this week in the SNR series or the Geography series.

On Friday, Amy Burgin— an assistant professor at SNR—will present "Whole Lake Research in Ohio" in Hardin Hall room 163 at 3 p.m.
The SNR seminar series resumes next week, on Oct. 31, when Qingfen (Gene) Guan addresses "GeoComputational Intelligence and High-Performance Geospatial Computing."

The Geography series also resumes next week, on Nov. 2, with Glen Humpress' "Technology Toponyms: Connecting the Public to Naval Vessels Using Place Names."

Next week also feature an outreach seminar when celebrated author Paul Johnsgard and SNR researcher Mary Bomberger Brown discuss "The Biodiversity of Nebraska within the Great Plains."
