The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a video series intended to immerse viewers in the serene beauty of its iconic campus.

The Campus Video Series invites Huskers to experience the splendor of UNL’s outdoor and academic spaces through a lens of contemplation and sensory themes. The videos are created by the video team in University Communication and Marketing. The team is led by Aaron Nix, director of video, and includes Curt Bright, broadcast specialist, and Abi Trembly, video intern.

“Many times, we see campus videos loaded with verbal or text information, but rarely are we allowed to let a space soak in in the same way sitting on a bench and observing the world around you would,” Nix said.

The most recent entry, “Campus in Tune,” highlights the various times and places when music can be heard at UNL. Other videos in the series include explorations of campus in red, bloom, gold and green.

The video team plans to build upon the series in the coming year.

“I love UNL’s campuses. Every time I walk onto campus, I have new experiences and notice new things,” Nix said. “I hope students, alumni, Nebraska residents, and even people who have never visited UNL can watch these and have a moment where they can appreciate our outdoor and academic spaces and maybe want to visit in person.”
