Did you know that just last month 7,259 School of Natural Resources faculty publications were downloaded from Digital Commons? 77,751 were downloaded in the last year from places as far reaching as India, Vietnam and Nepal.
The UNL Digital Commons institutional repository is a service of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln libraries. Faculty members, researchers and students associated with UNL are encouraged to add digital materials to the repository for worldwide electronic accessibility.
Types of documents that can be deposited from UNL-affiliated authors and programs include published and unpublished documents such as: journal articles, posters, presentations, reports, theses, dissertations, newsletters, and annual reports.
Throughout the year, SNR documents are added to the Nebraska Maps and More database and Digital Commons. The Digital Commons link is then added to the database. In this way, publications become digitally accessible not only directly from Digital Commons but also via the Nebraska Maps and More website and the Publications tab within your profile in the SNR directory.
If you are interested in getting your publications out to a broader audience please submit them, at any time, to Lisa Greif or Jacki Loomis.
