Registration is now open for the 2025 Society for Range Management & Natural Legacy Joint Conference, taking place October 7–9, 2025, at the UNL East Campus Union in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Registration Details:
• $50 – Students and Nebraska Master Naturalists
• $115 – General attendees

Note for NGPC Employees: If you are a Nebraska Game and Parks Commission employee, please do not use the website registration. Instead, use the internal NGPC registration form. If you haven’t received the link, feel free to contact me directly.

Conference Overview:
Join colleagues, partners, and students from across the state to share conservation, research, management, and outreach efforts tied to the Natural Legacy Project and rangeland management. This is a great opportunity for learning, networking, and celebrating conservation work in Nebraska.

Important Deadlines:
• Legacy Award Nominations – Due August 8
Recognize someone who has advanced the mission of the Natural Legacy Project through impactful conservation or education work. Details and the nomination forms are on the conference website.
• Presentation Abstracts – Due August 22
Consider sharing your work! Presentations should be 20 minutes (plus 5 minutes for Q&A), focusing on topics related to conservation, research, management, or outreach. Submit your abstract via the online portal.
• Student Scholarship Deadline – August 22
Scholarships are available for students, covering registration and two hotel nights at The Scarlet Hotel. Details and the application are available on the conference website.
• Hotel Booking – Deadline September 8
Reserve your room under the Legacy Conference block at The Scarlet Hotel in Lincoln, located just 5 minutes from East Campus. Book by September 8 to receive the special conference rate.
Tentative Agenda:
• Tuesday, Oct 7: Conference starts at 1:00 PM, with an evening dinner, Legacy Awards, and activities
• Wednesday, Oct 8: Full day of presentations, evening banquet, and SRM student auction
• Thursday, Oct 9: Presentations and field trip, concluding around 1:30 PM
