The third annual Nebraska Sustainability Roundtable will take place from 5-8 p.m., Nov. 19 in the Nebraska Student Union. The roundtable is for students, faculty and industry experts to discuss energy, materials, water and campus sustainability.
The event willl consist of short roundtable discussions led by UNL faculty and staff regarding water and food, waste, energy and campus sustainability. The event looks to engage students with a diverse range of issues related to sustainability, and gather ideas students may have on furthering sustainability on campus. No previous knowledge regarding environmental sustainability is necessary. Students are encouraged to attend all or part of the event.
Free dinner will be provided by Chipolte, Raising Cane's and Subway, with coffee from Meadowlark Coffee.
The event will aim to be UNL's second ever Zero Waste event through its partnership with UNL Recycling.
