On Nov. 25, Nicholas Brozovic, associate professor of environmental and resource economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will lead an informal public forum focused on the policy dimensions of the Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute.
“Policy Relevance and Engagement at the Daugherty Water for Food Institute” will take place from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Union. Brozovic will facilitate a discussion on how participants view the mission of the Institute, how the Institute might make their work more effective, and how they, in turn, might contribute to the mission.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
The Robert B. Daugherty Water for Food Institute at the University of Nebraska is a research, education, and policy analysis institute committed to helping the world efficiently use its limited freshwater resources, with particular focus on ensuring the food supply for current and future generations.
