Strategies for Success at the U.S. Department of Energy: A Proposal Writing Workshop is free to UNL faculty, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students. Online registration by April 1 is required.

Kristin Bennett, founder and president of KB Science LLC, will present the interactive workshop. Bennett will discuss approaches for developing competitive DOE white papers and grant proposals, differences between DOE and National Science Foundation proposals, and strategies and tools for submitting successful proposals. Participants will gain hands-on experience writing, editing and refining a sample white paper and a grant proposal. More information is available on the event website.

The Whittier Research Center is at 22nd and Vine streets. Parking is available in the Area A lot south of Whittier and the A/C/R lot southwest of the building.

This event is co-hosted by UNL's Office of Research and Economic Development and the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research. For additional information, contact Nathan Meier, director of research strategy, nlm@unl.edu, (402) 472-3901.
