Congratulations to Fisheries and Wildlife student Catherine Berrick who received the Late John and Diane Poehling Scholarship from the Nebraska Safari Club. Berrick, a junior from Lincoln, NE is also majoring in Spanish and currently studying abroad in Seville, Spain.
Berrick’s trip to Spain is not her first taste of international travel. In 2015 she traveled to Puerto Rico and Botswana Africa as part of SNR faculty led study abroad opportunities.
Dr. John Carroll who got to know Berrick in Botswana said, “she is one of our many outstanding students in SNR, but she is one who really stands out in her quiet confidence and hard work. Catherine is destined to do great things in her life.”
