One of the outcomes of the Arctic workshop last November and of other Arctic-related work from University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty, staff and students is that UNL will be the first Big 10 school and one of the first public institutions in the U.S. to become a member of UArctic.

UArctic is an international cooperative network of universities and public research institutions in other Arctic Council countries.

If you are interested in learning more about UArctic and its "North to North" student exchange program/collaborative research areas, stop by Hardin Hall 901 at 3 p.m. Monday, April 4. Donna Anger from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks will be available to talk about Arctic and answer students' questions. She will have brochures and PowerPoint slides to share.
