Nebraska's Center for Civic Engagement and Lend a Hand will offer a day of service project opportunities from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sept. 14. Projects include outdoor community beautification, working with after-school community learning centers, and serving the needs of various local nonprofits.
Students can register individually or gather a group of friends, club members, or neighbors in residence halls, to serve together. Registration, which closes Sept. 11, is available online. Participants should meet on the Nebraska Union Plaza at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 14.
