Hope everyone had a great summer!

Last year, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our move into Hardin Hall. This year we celebrated SNR's 20th anniversary of the formation of the School of Natural Resources! Along with the celebration, we look forward to the next 20 years which will include at least one new major, Regional and Community Forestry. UNL will be the farthest west institution to have a program like this. Also, make sure you’re keeping in touch with us through social media on Facebook
and Twitter or through our website so we can let you know all the awesome things to come.

Did you like the stories about our alumni in this newsletter? We have been lucky to have a great response so far to our Alumni Survey and picked key alumni to feature this round. Make sure you check out the upcoming SNR Annual Report and Inside SNR this fall for more new alumni stories. If you haven’t taken the Alumni Survey, please take a minute to fill it out our here. It can help us show students they can go anywhere, just like you.

Of course, we also greatly appreciate the financial support provided to SNR through the NU Foundation. Please consider supporting the Natural Resources Development Fund or one of the others that is special to you. Visit the SNR Foundation website to discover all of the possible opportunities.

Hope to hear from you soon!
