Staff Senate Town Halls Scheduled

UNL staff employees can participate in person or online on June 9 and July 14.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Staff Senate invites staff employees to attend and participate in two town halls.

The first town hall will be held at the Swanson Auditorium in the Nebraska Union on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The second town hall will take place at the Arbor Suite in the Nebraska East Union on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Topics for discussion at the town hall include:

• Alternative rewards for staff employees due to no compensation increases
• Ways to productively engage with university leaders to address the consequences of no compensation increases
• UNL/UNMC joint accreditation process
• Future campus budget cuts
• Proposed Board of Regents’ Bylaws changes
• Joining other entities in support of a Mutual Academic Defense Compact
