Annual Day of the Dead celebration is Nov. 1

The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services (OASIS) announces the annual Day of the Dead Celebration at 6 p.m., Nov. 1 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. The celebration will feature a Mexican Folkloric dance performance by Sangre Azteca, a poetry-music performance by Echopoetico and a performance by Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. This event is free and open to the public.

Dia de los Muertos is a joyful celebration that is held every year Nov. 1 and 2 to remember and honor deceased loved ones. For more information, contact Bill Waters at 472-7721.
