Nebraska EPSCoR anticipates that a Request for Proposal for the National Science Foundation’s EPSCoR Track-2 award will be issued early next summer for proposal submission in August 2013. Each EPSCoR state may submit one proposal for a collaborative research project with another EPSCoR state.

Funding available for each proposal is $6 million, to be split among the partners over 3 years. At this early stage, it is assumed that all NSF STEM funding areas will be eligible for this grant until otherwise indicated.

Nebraska EPSCoR will issue a call for letters of interest for research collaboration with other EPSCoR states. The letters will be due in late September, so that all parties can begin the process of developing collaborative proposals in late December.

A competitive process will be used to determine the final project for submission. For a list of NSF EPSCoR states, visit http://www.nsf.gov/od/oia/programs/epscor/statewebsites.jsp. To read more about Nebraska EPSCoR, visit https://epscor.nebraska.edu/).
