UNL is celebrating multiculturalism and inclusion through a series of events organized by the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. The events run through April 12.
"Gaughan Week: Strengthening Multiculturalism and Inclusion" is designed to inform the campus community about what the Gaughan Center offers to campus and get participants to think about diversity.
Free, open to the public events include a rhythmic stomp performance, information on Zumba dancing, lectures and cultural presentations. The week closes with the Mexican American Student Association's annual banquet, 7 p.m. April 12 in the Nebraska Union. Tickets are required for the MASA banquet.
