90.3 KRNU is partnering with the Downtown Lincoln Association to promote the Aug. 6 First Friday Artwalk.
KRNU will provide the music at three of the galleries:
-- The 815 (815 O St. in the old Box Awesome space);
-- Gallery 9 (124 S 9th);
-- The Black Market / The Public (1033 O St. in the Golds Building across from the coffee shop).
On the first Friday of every month, local galleries open their doors, allowing art lovers to mingle and admire the work displayed on gallery walls and street corners into the evening.
The First Friday Artwalk starts at 5 p.m. The opening and closing times vary depending on the curator and the last session typically ends at 10 p.m.
