Wangari Maathai has canceled her trip to the United States and her participation in the E.N. Thompson Forum on World Issues because of unforeseen personal circumstances. Her lecture scheduled for Sept. 28 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts will not take place. All related events are canceled.
