Business Week (B-Week) is a one-week celebration of the College of Business and its community. Held September 23-26, this student-coordinated event connects students, faculty, staff, alumni and business professionals in a collaborative effort to realize current successes, celebrate past accomplishments and anticipate future endeavors. B-Week is sponsored by Union Pacific and the College of Business and coordinated by the Nebraska Business Student Advisory Board. The tradition originated in 1921 as BizAd Day and grew into an entire week of programming.
Events include:
Monday
-Photo Booth: Dress professionally and get your free head shot taken in HLH 111 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Tuesday
-Shirts and Snacks: Free Nebraska Business shirts while they last at the south lobby first floor at 10 a.m.
-Career Fair: Talk with employers about internships and careers in busienss, social/human services, agriculture, government and non profits. Bring your resume and dress for success ath the Pinnacle Bank Arena from 1 to 5 p.m.
Wednesday
-Student Involvement Fair: Get connectd to groups, programs or events that interest you in the Hendrickson Family Atrium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday
-Business Abroad Fair: Learn about study/intern abroad opportunities in the Hendrickson Family Atrium from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
-Executive Insights Sponsored by State Farm: Hear from leaders in entrepreneurship and ethics, including Kinko's founder and distinguished alumni in the Hendrickson Family Atrium from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.
