This semester’s MNGT411 class is putting together a college-wide drive for Educare Lincoln - a nonprofit organization that aligns with our class’s mission statement this semester. Educare Lincoln applied for our Strive to Thrive grant but was not selected as a finalist for our grant process. Due to their impact in our community, we’re excited to partner with this organization. Educare’s mission is focused on fully preparing all students for kindergarten, and ultimately for life-long success.” Many scientific studies prove that the most important developmental years of children are between 0-5. Educare provides high-quality education and curriculum to children of at-risk families. Their methods are so impactful and successful that they have a 70-child waiting list for enrollment. Donations toward this organization will help enhance and sustain quality care and education provided to these young children. For this fundraising drive we’ve collaborated with Educare and they have created their own Venmo account (@Educare-Lincoln) to accept donations. This drive will begin Monday, November 11th and end Sunday, November 24th. Our goal is to fundraise $2,000 or more for Educare during the two weeks that this drive is active.
