SCMA 391 Summer Session

Explore the supply chain management challenges created by the pandemic in a new special topics course offered online this summer. Topics will include the supply chain structure of popular and necessary products that experienced shortages and stock-outs, the impact of the pandemic on food supply chains, and the role of government policies in promoting supply chain responsiveness. The course will also consider lessons learned, particularly strategies for building resilient supply chains and the role of emerging innovations and technology to address supply chain needs in the future.

SCMA 391 is taught by Professor Shawntell Kroese, who has executive-level experience at a Fortune 500 company and a strong supply chain management background in the corporate world with diverse industries.

Open to all UNL students, no prerequisites or permission is required. The course counts as a directed elective for supply chain management majors, as part of the supply chain management minor, or as 300/400-level business elective for other business majors.
