Glenn Scott bio:
Following the Exxon and Mobil merger, Glenn became ExxonMobil's UK joint venture manager in London, England, in 2001. The following year he was appointed U.S. equity crude sales manager in Fairfax, Virginia managing the sale and transportation of all of ExxonMobil’s domestic oil production.
Glenn became operations manager with the ExxonMobil Production Company in 2004, based in Houston, responsible for all operations and maintenance of approximately one-third of ExxonMobil’s operated production in the United States.
In 2006, Glenn was appointed president of ExxonMobil Canada Limited, responsible for all aspects of ExxonMobil's East Coast Canadian offshore business. He served as senior vice president, upstream, Imperial Oil Limited, an affiliate of ExxonMobil, from 2010 through 2014 leading several multi-billion-dollar expansion projects in Western Canada along with managing all drilling, operations and commercial aspects of the business.
Glenn joined XTO Energy, an affiliate of ExxonMobil focused on shale and unconventional field development and production, in 2015 serving as senior vice president, Operations and International Ventures. During this time, Glenn managed the entire value chain of business units across the U.S., Canada and Argentina.
Glenn also served as, President of Petroleum Research Atlantic Canada, Chairman of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and on the Board of Directors of Trinity Habitat for Humanity. He also volunteers for Texas Academy 4 and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Travis County, Texas. Both activities are aimed at helping lower income, abused and/or neglected children.
Glenn retired after more than 34 years in August 2020. He, and his wife Ellen, have returned to Austin, Texas to enjoy retirement.
