The Nebraska Business Student Advisory Board (SAB) is continuing the Student of the Month Award to recognize outstanding students in the College of Business who have contributed to the engagement and community of the college. Last year, SAB successfully recognized 14 students (up to two students each month) for this award.
The College of Business Student of the Month is a student who displays hard work in the classroom, leadership skills, and active involvement in the College of Business, UNL, or the community. This is a student who has devoted impressive time and effort to their education and personal and professional development, is driven to be successful, and is making a noticeable impact within UNL, the College of Business, and/or the community. The award recognizes students who exceed normal standards and raise the bar for others. At the end of the academic year, all Student of the Month winners will be eligible to win the Student of the Year award, with the non-graduating winner awarded a $500 scholarship.
SAB is now accepting nominations for the February Student of the Month. If you know a deserving student, please complete the short nomination form at https://business.unl.edu/current-students/student-of-the-month/ by Monday, March 4. The nomination is simple (just a few sentences) and can be completed in less than five minutes, so please take a moment to recognize a worthy student. Once nominated, students must complete a few short essays to be fully considered. Nominated students who are not selected remain in consideration for future Student of the Month awards until the end of the academic year.
