All the University of Nebraska-Lincoln students are invited to enter into the 2024 Global Case Competition (GCC) organized and sponsored by the International Business program. This year’s GCC will be centered around The Role of Nebraska in Addressing Food Insecurity Around the World. Details of the case will be provided to student teams by Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Judging Criteria:
Teams will be evaluated by a panel of professionals for overall presentation, business strategy, and quality of research. The winning team of the Global Case Competition will receive $5,000; second place will receive $3,000, and third place will receive $1,500. In addition, the winning team may be given the opportunity to compete in a national case competition in the fall semester.
The competition will feature 2 rounds: The first one will include virtual presentations during the week of April 22; the second/final one will have in person presentations on April 26. More logistical details will be provided to all participants immediately following the registration deadline.
To Participate:
Form a team of 3-5 undergraduate students aiming for as much diversity as possible (e.g. a team of American and international students or students with different backgrounds is ideal although not required) and ensure that at least two academic departments (major or minors) are represented.
