The Marketing Department is offering the Union Pacific Applied Business Projects Class, Marketing 490 for Fall 2024. The class will work with Union Pacific, a Fortune 150 company headquartered in Omaha.

The class will be working with UP management on three projects the company is researching. You will work in groups on the active projects with the UP team and will receive focused feedback from UP management on your recommendations.

The class is open to all majors. It will involve analysis of forward-looking projects for Union Pacific.

This is an opportunity to get an experiential education class working with top management at a large well-known organization. The class is similar to an intensive internship working with management, solving real problems, and creating opportunities for Union Pacific. It is a strong point on a resume or a Linked in portfolio. It will also give you three significant business-oriented projects to include in your personal portfolio and discuss with potential employers on an interview. It is a major differentiator for job candidates.

The class is by application only and is open to all majors. Requirements are Marketing 341 and approximately a 3.0 GPA. Class size is limited to 25 students. Get your application in early if you are interested.
