Husker Pantry at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln supports students facing food and hygiene insecurity. Open to all enrolled students, it offers non-perishable food and hygiene products through a simple online ordering system. Community contributions keep the pantry functioning.
To utilize the Husker Pantry, students must create an account through the pantry’s online portal, PantrySoft. Students can order up to one time per month. The process is simple and designed to protect student privacy.
Here’s how to get started
- Visit the Husker Pantry Website here
- Register for an Account: Click the “Order Now” button and fill in the required information, including your student ID and contact details.

- Schedule a Visit: After selecting your items, choose a convenient time to pick up your order. This year all orders will be picked up from Room 123 in the University Health Center on City Campus.
- Pick up Order: Arriving within the window of the appointment time allows for an efficient flow of traffic of students picking up orders. Be sure to knock on the pantry door when picking up an order!
Community support plays a crucial role in keeping the Husker Pantry stocked and operational.
There are several ways individuals can contribute:
- Monetary Donations: Financial contributions are always welcome. Donations can be made through the Husker Pantry website, where funds go directly toward purchasing food and essential items.
- Food and Hygiene Product Drives: Organizing or participating in drives within RSOs, departments, etc. is a great way to collect non-perishable food items and hygiene products.
- Collection Bins: Donating to the various bins on campus is a convenient way to donate unused and unexpired products. Bin locations are listed on the Husker Pantry website.
By supporting the Husker Pantry, the university community helps ensure that all students have access to essential resources, fostering a more inclusive and supportive campus environment.
