Through this student-led program, you will learn from guest speakers who are founders, investors and ecosystem leaders, work on a real due diligence project to sharpen your investing skills, dive into Nebraska’s startup ecosystem and meet its key stakeholders.
Following Venture Bootcamp, a select group of students are chosen to be Associates in the fund, which invests over $100,000 into Nebraska-based startups annually. The fund is looking for motivated students from any major and any year who are ready to grow through hands-on venture capital experience.
The Husker Venture Fund offers hands-on investment experience for students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while providing funding for student- and faculty-led startups. The fund, built by alumni and university supporters, is managed by students under the supervision of the Center for Entrepreneurship, the University of Nebraska Foundation and Invest Nebraska.
