
Husker AI Days, April 13-24, is two weeks of workshops, showcases, and conversations exploring how AI is shaping teaching, research, and work across campus.
Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and MathWorks are joining us on campus for hands-on sessions alongside UNL faculty, staff, and student events. Sessions range from introductory conversations to deep technical workshops, with something for every experience level and interest.
A few highlights:
• Student Promptathon (April 13): Prompting challenge with generative image generation (prizes!)
• Google Day (April 14): Gemini Enterprise workshops, agent building, and a fireside chat on AI in higher education
• MathWorks Day (April 15): Low-code AI tools and AI in safety-critical systems
• Student Spotlight (April 17): E-poster session and lightning talk competition (prizes!)
• Microsoft Day (April 21): M365 Copilot breakouts for faculty and staff, GitHub Copilot, and career sessions for students
• OpenAI Day (April 22): ChatGPT Edu, Codex, and open office hours
• The Great Prairie Prompting Show (April 22 evening): A live competition where teams design AI solutions to real teaching challenges (more prizes!)
