Curious about how businesses decide which new technologies are worth investing in—and which ones are mostly hype?

BSAD 340: Navigating Emerging Technologies in Business helps students learn how to evaluate AI and emerging technologies through a practical business lens. You will examine why tech initiatives succeed or fail, how data quality and governance shape outcomes, and how culture, leadership, ethics, and change management affect adoption.

Rather than focusing only on the technology itself, this course builds the skills needed to assess organizational readiness, develop a business case, weigh risks and value, and communicate recommendations to both business and technical audiences.

This course is a strong fit for business professionals who want to be prepared for a workforce being reshaped by emerging technology.
