All new and returning students will be welcomed back to campus with the annual Big Red Welcome celebration. There are six weeks of FREE events for you to attend. There's bound to be something for everyone.
A sampling of Big Red Welcome events include:
- August 25, 7 p.m., Campus NightLife Back to School Bash, Nebraska Union Plaza and Green Space — Join Campus NightLife and celebrate the beginning of the school year with a headphone disco party, inflatable games and refreshments!
- August 27, 5-7 p.m., Big Red Ruckus, Adele Hall Learning Commons — Play games of Jumbo Jenga, Ladder Golf or Corn Hole, enjoy free drinks and donuts under the Dunkin Donuts tent, and test your geography skills and guess the destination of Huskers around the world with Education Abroad.
- August 30, 10:45 a.m.-12 p.m., Mid-Week Majors Booth featuring Accounting and Economics, College of Business — Speak with a business academic advisor and a business career coach to learn more about business degree (especially accounting and economics majors) requirements, involvement options and career/internship opportunities.
- September 7, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Club Fair, Nebraska Union Plaza — Showcases the active Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus in a fun, interactive setting.
