Winter Break in Panama or Benin?

Winter Break Program
Winter Break Program

Global Immersion is going back to Panama and putting a new twist on returning to Benin this Winter Break.

The program to Panama will be December 26-January 6, giving you 10 days to explore Panama City and work on development and export projects. Students will design a marketing and business plan for a high-end sailboat marina in the City, as well as looking at exporting Nebraska grain through the Panama Canal. Check out the video from last year at http://https://go.unl.edu/panamavid

The program to Benin will be December 15-23 (before the Christmas holiday)– diving into the potentials of the cash crop export market as well as continuing the project to design a solar powered center pivot for irrigation to expand the agricultural technology in West Africa.

Students on both programs will earn 3 credit hours of BSAD 491 credit in a hybrid course taking place during the Fall semester here in CoB and finishing up with lectures and projects in country. Dr. Osiri, Director of International Business will lead both programs.
