Students can register to attend the American Marketing Association (AMA) Lincoln chapter’s February SkillSchool held Friday, February 15, 12-3 p.m. in Andersen Hall, room 15. Alumnus Matthew Bergh, programmatic account strategist, will present “Did You Really Google It? How Google Can Help You Survive a Hectic World.”
On September 15, 1997 a domain called Google.com was registered by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. This domain would become the world’s largest search engine that would eventually process 40,000 search queries per second. However today Google is not just a search engine. Google has become one of the largest technology companies in the world helping advertisers reach users across the globe, consumers efficiently communicate, small to large companies collaborate and store data, and help researchers develop products like self-driving cars.
Bergh will not only discuss his journey from being a Cornhusker to a Googler, but also discuss how you can utilize Google products to elevate your career to the next level.
Be prepared for interactive sessions and special guests (and of course Google swag)!
