Priority registration is the period in which students may begin enrollment for the following academic term. In other words, the day and time you are assigned is your place in line and you will have the best course selection by keeping your place in line and enrolling as soon as it is your turn.
When can you register for fall classes?
Check MyRed Messages to find the date and time you may begin enrolling. You can enroll anytime between this date and time and September 3, 2019 (the 6th day of classes). Make sure you have taken care of any holds that prohibit registration, common holds are academic probation and financial holds.
How are registrations times assigned?
Priority registration dates are assigned by current class standing. Randomized registration times are assigned between 8am-5pm within each class standing.
Seniors – March 25, 26, 27
Juniors – March 28, 29, April 1
Sophomores – April 2, 3, 4
Freshmen – April 5, 8, 9
When can I meet with an advisor? Here are several options:
1) Check MyPLAN for available appointments.
2) Walk-ins are also available Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30 and don’t forget about Walk-In Wednesday, the day all advisors are on walk-ins.
3) Freshmen, there are 3 Freshmen Advising Session on Monday, April 8. You can attend at 1pm, 2:30pm, or 4pm. All sessions are in HLH 032. No registration necessary.
How do I prepare for an advising session?
1) Review and bring your degree audit (on your laptop or printed)
2) Make a list of classes you think you should take
3) Make a list of questions
