4/8 Visit to The Career Academy & SCC

On Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 (No school due to ACT), from 8:30a-12:00p, 9th and 10th grade ETS students will be visiting The Career Academy as well as Southeast Community College. 4/18 College of Hair Design Visit

On Friday, April 18th (LPS no school day) from 1:15p-4:00p ETS High School Students will be visiting College of Hair Design's East Campus. East Campus is home to their Cosmetology and Esthetics Programs.

4/21 UNL Veterinary Science Department Visit

On Monday, April 21st (LPS no school day) from 8:00a - 1:30p (Lunch provided), ETS High School students will be visiting UNL's Veterinary and Animal Science programs. Students will have the opportunity to review the different pre-veterinary tracks, tour facilities, and hear from some faculty in the department!

High School Summer Program

ETS is excited to offer our inaugural high school summer program at UNL's City Campus. This program is open to current ETS 9th-11th graders.

What you can expect:
- Job skill/resume practice
- Career/college exploration
- ACT practice
-UNL Department Visits
- Grade specific activities


Each day will run from 8:30am - 3pm. Lunch will be provided at the dining hall.
1. Rising Seniors - June 9th - June 13th
2. Rising Juniors - June 16th - June 20th
3. Rising Sophomores - June 23rd - June 27th

Middle School Summer Program

Dates: M-F starting Thursday, June 5th-Wednesday, July 2nd
Location: UNL City Campus
Drop Off: 8:30 | Pick Up: 3:00


Completely free summer program for ETS Middle School Students (incoming 6th grade - incoming 9th grade). Includes lunch at UNL dining hall, fun classes, field trips, and meeting students from all different middle schools.

Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars Program

The Cooke Young Scholars Program is a selective five-year, pre-college scholarship for exceptionally promising 7th grade students. It provides comprehensive academic and college advising, financial support for school materials, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities.

High School Big Red Summer Camps

June 8th - 13th, UNL his hosting Big Red Summer Academic Camps in the following subjects: Animation, The Art of Teaching, Data in Sketches and Dashboards, Digital Media, Engineering, E-sports, Fashion Entrepreneurship, Geoscience, Robots and Drones, Math and Data Science, STEM, Youth Legislature, Weather and Climate Science. Wisconsin College Visit

ETS's annual out-of-state college visit for high school students will be July 21st - July 24th to Wisconsin! More details and application coming by the end of the month.
