High School Summer Program

ETS is excited to offer our inaugural high school summer program at UNL's City Campus. This program is open to current ETS 9th-11th graders.

What you can expect:
- Job skills/resume practice
- Career/college exploration
- ACT practice
-UNL Department Visits
- Grade specific activities


Each day will run from 8:30am - 3pm. Lunch will be provided at the dining hall.
1. Rising Seniors - June 9th - June 13th
2. Rising Juniors - June 16th - June 20th
3. Rising Sophomores - June 23rd - June 27th

Wisconsin College Visit

ETS High School Students- 0ur annual out-of-state college visit application is officially open! July 21-24 we will be touring universities in Wisconsin!

Three college visits, a day at six flags, other excursions and more all for FREE. We will stay in dorms, provide all your meals, and travel in private bus. Families will receive a thorough itinerary at orientation.

Juniors- Time to Start Thinking About Scholarships

Juniors- summer is the perfect time for you to start thinking about your college and scholarship applications. If you are attending our High School Summer program (https://go.unl.edu/hssp25), you will cover a lot, but if not, here is a summer checklist.

  • Update Your Resume for College Applications. Feel free to email your Education Specialist for editing help. Templates here: https://www.canva.com/resumes/
  • Start Your Personal Statement
  • Make Your College Calendar. List out what college and scholarships you want to apply for and find out when their applications open and close. Check out our list of scholarships here: https://go.unl.edu/etsscholarships

 

Frozen: The Musical

This August, we will be taking students to see Frozen: The Musical at the Lied Center free of charge. Keep an eye out for details this summer!

 

8th Grade Students High School Sports Physicals

Are you in 8th grade, planning to play a sport in high school? You will need a physical exam after May 1st in order to play high school sports. Read more here: https://home.lps.org/athletics/packet/

If you are going to Lincoln High School, there are free physical exams in the Lincoln High Johnson Gym on Wednesday, May 14th, starting at 4:30pm. More info here: https://sites.google.com/class.lps.org/linksathletics/
