Take this opportunity to practice taking LSAT under timed conditions. This practice exam will b in paper and pencil format, and not a digital format like the official LSAT exams. However, taking a practice LSAT under timed conditions will help you to practice your strategies and thought processes and hone your test-taking skills. Legal History UCARE Project - Apply by February 15th!
"Petitioning for Freedom" is recruiting UCARE students for summer 22 and AY 22-23 to assist on our digital legal history project. We are working with thousands of habeas corpus petitions dating 1812-1924 that tell the stories of Black, Indigenous, immigrant, dependent, and institutionalized petitioners throughout the American West. Researchers will gain invaluable digital and legal history research goals and professional development mentoring. This opportunity is ideal for humanities and social science majors interested in racial and social justice careers that connect the past to the present for a more just and equitable future.

With so many options, it can be hard to know where to begin getting involved. Attend this workshop to reflect on which skill sets you would like to develop as a Pre-Law student and plan for you involvement as you prepare to apply to law school.

This workshop will cover what law schools are looking for in personal statements and provide you with writing exercises to begin the process of developing your individual story in a strong and compelling manner. Co-presented with the UNL Writing Center.

Get to Know the LSAT

Pre-Law students of all grade levels are encouraged to attend this presentation on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). Topics covered will include an overview of the exam and its sections, how to best prepare for the exam, practice LSAT opportunities, and timing of the test with law school admissions cycles.
