Final Husker Trade Talk of the Semester: Tarriffs and Toppers
The Yeutter Institute hosts Husker Trade Talks for students two to three times per semester. These free events feature individual speakers or panels discussing trade-related topics such as biotechnology, trade journalism, and supply chain challenges.
This semester’s Husker Trade Talk, titled “Tariffs and Toppers,” will take place on April 29. Students, staff, and faculty are invited to enjoy food, listen to a timely discussion, and engage with our Yeutter Institute Chairs: Matthew Schaefer (College of Law), Edward Balistreri (Department of Economics), and John Beghin (Department of Agricultural Economics).
Held in the Unity Room of the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, this event will center on their recent report, “Understanding Trump’s New Tariffs,” which has been featured in news outlets such as TV Globo, Flatwater Free Press, Barron’s, and many more.
Lunch is provided so please RSVP here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfU6zR3OOQSTo2yNcd0XjSy6Io7CqZpGaHs4rbsVIoTtPORew/viewform
